Nick Spinnato, Director of Golf Operations

A graduate of Calvert Hall College, Nick attended Methodist College in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He received his B.S. in business administration while concentrating on golf management.

Having completed this portion of his education, he began his golf career at Sparrows Point Country Club. In 1993, Nick took a position at Turf Valley Country Club as the assistant Pro and in 2001 earned the position of Director of Golf, overseeing all golf related operations.

We are pleased to have him serving as our newest member of the Professional team, where he will direct the golf operations of both Turf Valley and Hayfields.

Doug Hamilton is Hayfields' Resident Golf Pro.

Doug Hamilton began his golf career at Wakefield Valley Golf Club in Westminster, MD following graduation from The George Washington University in 1996. (Doug actually went to GW to play baseball.) From there he worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at River Downs Golfers’ Club. Doug then moved to Piney Branch Golf Club where he spent 6 years as the First Assistant Golf Professional.

In March of 2005, shortly after gaining PGA membership, Doug began his career at Hayfields Country Club. Doug currently resides in Hampstead, MD with his wife Debbie.
